YoungRock actor Uli Latukefu, who plays the college football era Dwayne Johnson on the NBC hit series, is reuniting with the action star for New Line/DC’s Black Adam

Latukefu’s role is being kept under wraps. The Australian native made his U.S. network TV debut in thethis past February. He was hand picked by Johnson to play his younger self, beating out thousands of hopefuls for the role.premiered on NBC to the network’s highest comedy ratings of the season. The season one finale is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4.opposite Michelle Monaghan, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney.

Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions are producing with Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo.Collet-Serra previously directed Johnson and Emily Blunt, and produced with Garcia, Garcia and Flynn on Disney’sis the second New Line/DC film following 2019’s critical and $366M-worldwide grossing hitRory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani wrote the latest draft.
