SINGAPORE — While working as a promoter for a music lounge in 2014, Goh Jun Xi learned of a credit card swiping scam in which his employer could illicitly earn easy money.

Goh Jun Xi, 29, was investigated in 2014 but subsequently went to Cambodia during investigations and returned to Singapore only in 2018. He was then arrested again for drink-driving last year.
