Beta Film, the European production and sales outfit which counts series such asin its line-up, is expanding its operations in Turkey, one of the fastest-growing regions for television production worldwide.
Beta on Wednesday named Sarp Kalfaoglu its new representative for the region. The former head of drama at BluTV, the streaming platform owned by the Turkish network Kanal D that specializes in Turkish TV series for the international market, Kalfaoglu will be based in Istanbul and work to build up Beta's production and distribution activities in South-East Europe.
