Ireland's acting chief medical officer has warned it would take only a couple of small super-spreader events to leave the country "in trouble", given its incidence rate.
The health chief warned on Tuesday that there remained a "considerable risk" that Ireland would experience a further wave of infection if public health restrictions were eased too quickly. Many infected people are asymptomatic, meaning they show no symptoms but still carry the virus, reports CambridgeshireLive.
The College of Optometrists said: "It is recognised that any upper respiratory tract infection may result in viral conjunctivitis as a secondary complication, and this is also the case with Covid-19. It's one of the symptoms people suffering from 'Long Covid' have mentioned as they struggle to shake off the side effects for as much as a year.Although numbers vary for different people, a rise in body temperature generally counts as a fever once it reaches 37.7C .However, it's worth considering that fever accompanies a wide range of illnesses so on its own is not enough of a sign you've got the disease.
