PUTRAJAYA: Police arrested 458 people for violating the movement control order, the highest on the list being activities at entertainment centres.

Authorities nabbed 260 individuals for committing the violation during enforcement activities by the task force monitoring SOP compliance on Sunday .

Among other violations committed were cross-border travel without permission , failure to register customers’ detail , no social distancing , not wearing face masks and premises operating beyond permitted hours . On Ops Benteng, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that enforcement authorities arrested eight undocumented migrants and seized four land vehicles on Sunday.

On screening of foreign workers, Ismail Sabri said that 2,506 were screened for Covid-19 on March 14, and two were found to be positive.
