I’ve known one of her producers, Andrew Watt, since he was quite young and he’d been talking to me about shooting her for over a year. I never thought about it much once COVID hit because she lives in L.A. Then he called me up one day and said ‘We’re in town. We want you to shoot the album cover.’ I had this amazing place which a friend of mine owns, it was perfect for this. So we got organized and started shooting around 1pm. She’s very easy to photograph.
