Palace tells Robredo to show evidence if she witnessed Calabarzon 'massacre'

Malacañang has challenged Vice President Leni Robredo to show evidence of the alleged “massacre” in Calabarzon if she witnessed the incident, or else risk facing legal trouble.But if the vice president is not an eyewitness, Roque suggested that Robredo await the results of the investigation into the police raids over the weekend.

“Unang-una, kung personal na nakita ni Vice President ‘yung pangyayari, aba magbigay siya ng ebidensya kasi ang pananalita niya parang nakita ng dalawa niyang mata kung ano ang nangyari doon sa mga patayan na ‘yun ,” Roque said during a televised press briefing Tuesday, March 9. “‘Pag hindi siya nagbigay ng ebidensya, kasalanan din po yan, baka siya ay makasuhan . So, kung talagang siya ay eyewitness, sige po, ibigay niya ang ebidensya ,” he said.

He noted that whenever there is a crime, the first evidence offered to a court for the filing of a case is the “investigation report” by the police.
