"This collection is a mix of two influences," said Chanel creative director Virginie Viard in a press statement."The ambiance of ski holidays, which I adore, and a certain idea of cool Parisian chic, from the 1970s to now." Layers of jewelry, gorgeous tweed coats, embroidered quilted outerwear, and ski salopettes are the focus of Chanel's fall/winter collection. Viard continues to play with the neon color palette of, while ushering in a more casual and comfortable silhouette for the Chanel woman.
