Trevor Peacock, who played Jim Trott in the Vicar of Dibley, has died at the age of 89. Peacock who appeared in many British shows, from EastEnders to Jonathan Creek, had dementia.

So sad. Came across this gent a few times working in theatre many years ago - a brilliant comic actor and a lovely human being. RIP Trevor - you brought a lot of joy to many people.
Ahhh, I loved him, great actor, so funny ❤️
A great stage actor too - I saw him in a run of shows at rxtheatre in the early 80s. RIP
