Activists and Christian singer's followers clash on skid row

Dozens of evangelical Christians and activists skirmished in the streets of skid row Wednesday night as controversial evangelical Christian singer Sean Feucht’s followers arrived for a homeless outreach event.

Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were on hand to stop any violence, Mayor Eric Garcetti said earlier in the day. Protesters spilled out of the vehicles, chanting, “No mask, go home” and “You don’t look like Jesus. You came here to kill us.” Feucht has another outreach planned for Thursday at a homeless tent city in Echo Park, and a concert and party scheduled that evening for a church parking lot in Valencia.

MayorOfLA DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS! TOO MANY RESIDENTS WHETHER HOUSELESS OR WITH A ROOF LIVING AROUND ECHO PARK!!! YOU NEED TO RESIGN IF YOU DON’T STOP THE CHRISTIAN SUPERSPREADERS FROM CONGREGATING AND BRINGING FURTHER HARM TO THE COMMUNITY!!! COVIDIOT

How does adding the Christian band make it a super spreader event when the mass of people are already there? Everyday. The masses live there en masse.

The worst of both sides. None of those people should be out on the street.

Why are your headlines such garbage? The activists were DEFENDING Skid Row from outside invaders trying to infect the homeless with the coronavirus. ‘Clash’ implies something different.

Activists = thugs

Oh I see it's a clash

'Christian singer'? How about 'cult leader's infectious horde'?

'The COVID-19 particle ... is always bonded to something larger.' 'The virus attaches to water droplets ...'

“Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons [...]?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness.’” Matthew 7:22-23 NASB ProtectSkidRow

I am an evangelical Christian, and even I know this is stupid. This isn’t the way people. Doctors and nurses need our help staying away from hospitals.

Covidiots in motion.

So which group actually brought food and supplies for the homeless of Skid Row? That group should stay and the other should leave.

Fix your headlines

Still waiting for all these televangelists to show up at hospitals and start healing all the covid19 patients. He looks like a GOPartyOfLiesAndLOSERS politician holding another 'rona rally to me. Tax the churches.

they need food, not more meaningless 'christian' noise

LOL where were y’all during all of the protests and riots in the summer and fall

Gross

The homeless are the ones that are afraid? 😆

It's each person's decision to attend or not, and whether to wear a mask or not.

Using the homeless as propaganda tool is reprehensible.

Wait are they trying to help them or kill them?

Specifically what outreach services are involved in this 'outreach event?'

Smh.

Sinxe when do they give a damn about the homeless in l.a.?

Reach out and infect somebody

“Feucht and his followers held a harassment event that targeted the homeless.”* fixed it for ya.

Spreading COVID is not an outreach.

COVID-19 'super-spreader' event feared in L.A. as Christian singer defies health order for concertsSkid row activists plan a car blockade to stop Sean Feucht from staging what is billed as a 'massive outreach' on skid row amid the COVID-19 pandemic. How very christian of him to defy a law designed to save people’s lives. I’m sure he describes himself as “pro life” too. Let me guess. “The hospitals are at the breaking point and are about to be overrun”. 🙄. Yea hasn’t happened yet. Who is giving the permits for this
