saying that she had to do some quick-thinking during costume fittings to keep the news from getting out.star revealed that she had just found out she was pregnant when she started filming for the Roald Dahl remake, and as a result she had to use some pretty imaginative excuses when it came to certain things she couldn't do on set.This was particularly tricky when costume designer Joanna Johnston suggested Hathaway's character should have a very cinched in waist.
'She goes,"I really want you to have a really tight waist."' Hathaway explained. 'And I had just found out that I was pregnant and I was like,"Mmm, no. No, I don't think so. No." And she was like,"Well, why?" And I was like,"Eh, you know, I just know myself." I'm scrambling for a reason. 'And I'm like,"I just know myself and I know that I won't be as free.
'Now Jack's big enough to wrestle with, and that's brought a new element to their relationship that's really cute,' she said.
