'I think they're right in a way. We're portraying clichés and we're portraying one single vision of Paris.'

when asked about French critics of the show."We're portraying clichés and we're portraying one single vision of Paris. Paris is one of the most diverse cities in the world.""We have so many ways of thinking, so many different nationalities, so many different neighbourhoods," he went on."A lifetime wouldn't be enough to know everything that's going on in Paris. It's an entire world in a city.

"However, Lucas went on to say that he believes the show should be viewed as a form of escapism right now, especially since people are unable to travel during the coronavirus pandemic."Reality is so rough these days, and we've been going through such a difficult time that I think the show is so light-hearted, it's so colourful, the fashion, the romance, the travelling," he explained."It's so colourful and alive and funny. People needed something to just escape.

I loved it and can't wait for season 2. If you want reality, watch the news or read a newspaper.

Well here's what we call clickbait right there

Clickbait- he is more nuanced in his response actually

How she affords all those clothes, boots and shoes she apparently crammed into one large suitcase, is one thing. Where she puts them, in an apartment with no closet and a dresser with one drawer, is another. At least Carrie had a walk-in!

I watched the series. Is it Shakespeare? No. It is a nice story of a resourceful young woman having an adventure in a foreign country. It is light entertainment & there is nothing wrong with that.

It’s really a nice form of escape because here in America everything is TOO REAL with the pandemic, racial tensions, elections, but I hope maybe in season 2 it will be a little more grounded but if it’s not I have no complaints.

Well I guess we know he’s not coming back for season 2
