Rihanna herself also apparently responded to the controversy via DM, explaining that it was"never [her] intention" to offend anybody."I obviously had no clue! I just hope people don't think I did this on purpose or to be offensive or anything like that! Cause you know I would NEVER!!" the singer supposedly said according to"I'm editing it out, but of course you can't take it back ya know?!" she added.
But on Tuesday, Rihanna publicly apologised, posting a statement on her Instagram story and calling it an"honest, yet careless mistake"."I'd like to thank the Muslim community for pointing out a huge oversight that was unintentionally offensive in our Savage X Fenty show," she began."I would more importantly like to apologize to you for this honest, yet careless mistake.
"Moving forward we will make sure nothing like this ever happens again," the statement finished."Thank you for your forgiveness and understanding, Rih."

Why the hell does anyone think a pop star like Rhianna has a shits clue about what is going on in the music used, knows Arabic or a hadith when she hears it, even if she has heard of it or knows what it is?! What about her stylists, show producers, the track producer etc? TSIS!
She is one of the most welcoming artists in terms of inclusivity, diversity, etc. I don’t think this was intentional but, I can’t begin to understand the offense this caused the Muslim community.
