’s doctor has warned the president is ‘not out of the woods yet’ as the president prepares to leave hospital Monday evening. White House physician Dr Sean Conley told a press conference Monday: ‘He may not be entirely out of the woods yet the team and I agree that his clinical status supports his safe return home where he’ll be surrounded by world class medical care.’
‘We’re in a bit of uncharted territory, when it comes to a patient who has received the therapies that he has.’The White House physician also refused to say when the president had his last negative Covid test, amid fears he may still be infectious ahead of his imminent return to the White House, which has been racked by Covid infections among staff. Dr Conley also refused to discuss quarantine measures for Trump when he returns to the White House.
He went on to imply that Trump might still be infectious, and said complex testing was ongoing to try and establish whether the president could transmit Covid-19 to others. Dr Conley said Trump’s condition was improving, and that he would be given a final dose of anti-viral drug Remdesivir later today before heading home. Asked whether Trump had suffered any neurological issues from coronavirus, Dr Conley insisted the president was as sharp as ever, and added: ‘He’s back.’
Makes perfect sense for him to leave the hospital then
I thought he was in hospital?🤔
