TAIWAN has threatened to fine two pop singers in its country for agreeing to perform pro-Beijing songs on a Chinese TV show to celebrate China's National Day.

The performers, Ouyang Nana and Angela Chang, from Taiwan are due to perform on the state television show on Wednesday.
