To put it simply, Hardy is superb in almost any role in which he’s given the opportunity. My two favorite performances of his have been in small films that could scarcely be more different. One was in his breakthrough role as Michael Peterson in Nicolas Winding Refn’s mind-blowing 2008 biopic, about the most violent incarceree in U.K. history.
: the carnal and the cerebral, the man of force and the man of reason. While we await the confirmation—or debunking—of the Hardy-as-Bond news, both films offer tantalizing glimpses of what he might do with the role.
As much as I love Idris Elba to be the nest James Bond but if they put Tom Hardy forward for the role there will be no complaint from me. Still, I think Tom Hardy level at the moment is more than JAMES BOND films.😀

It really depends on whether they want to expand a stagnant fanbase. If they do, they need to get back to a tough but debonair Bond. SamHeughan fits that role perfectly and has a worldwide fanbase, many of whom have never seen Bond or like me, stopped watching years ago.
