President of the Media Forum, Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim Musa, speaks with ALEXANDER OKERE about a recent comment by Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, alleging threats to his person for featuring in an upcoming movie the IMN alleged was sponsored by the Nigerian Army against the grouppopular Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, recently stated that he was informed of an alleged threat to his person from the IMN for playing a role in the movie, ‘Fatal Arrogance’.
Edochie said your group should have waited for the film to be released before expressing your grievances. How would you respond to that? Don’t you think you should direct your criticism at the producers of the movie, as Edochie advised, rather than criticise the actors who were given roles to play as professionals?
You are not disappointed in American actors portraying Islam to be terror but you're disappointed in Pete. It's either you're ignorants or you're just bunch of hypocrites coming on this platform to condem a man for doing what people have been doing for ages. N'di ara! Hypocrites!

I am equally disappointed that an elder and renowned actor like Pete Edochie whose action and activities ought to be righting the wrongs of the society will descend so low to demonize a peaceful organization that has never taken up arm against an individual or govt.

It is not history movie. Its a movie and he is an actor. What you need to do now is a historical documentary of your own side of the story. Actor's act according to what is in their script. Y'all leave Pete out of all these.

I want to believe tht it was on Pete Edochie's discretion to decide if he wants to play that role or not, as a professional he should've make a background check about the movie first, morally speaking it depicting.
