Livestreamed on MPTF’s YouTube and Facebook pages, Jackman will be joined by Angela Bassett, Jason Bateman and Taraji P. Bassett will perform the tale of Toni Vaz, written by Charla Lauriston about the stuntwoman, actress and creator of the NAACP Image Awards. Bateman will share the love story of television writer-producer Joel and Deborah Rogosin as written by Erica Rivinoja . The couple lived at MPTF’s Country Home where Joel faced COVID-19.
Meanwhile, Henson will detail the story of Ashlei, a widow of an Iraq war veteran who turned to MPTF for help while trying to secure survivor benefits for their son. Her story was penned by Anna Musky-Goldwyn . "Through these compelling narratives, we can educate our industry family on MPTF programs and services and assure them that we’re here for them as well. While our organization is nearly 100 years-old, MPTF has never been more essential to our entertainment community as now and we’ve never been prouder of our efforts to take care of our own," said Bob Beitcher, president and CEO of MPTF.
