Coronation Street filming halted after actor tests positive for coronavirus

CORONATION Street was forced to halt production after an actor tested positive for coronavirus.

A spokeswoman for ITV confirmed the incident to the Guardian saying: “We can confirm a member of the Coronation Street team has tested positive for coronavirus. The Guardian reports that no other members of cast and crew came within two meters of the actor but that all members of staff who worked with him had been notified.

Coronation Street bosses implemented a wide array of measures to deal with this eventuality - including requiring everyone remain two meters apart at all times.

Can't they just halt it anyway.
