Warner Bros. is postponing the release of its Wonder Woman sequel, according to a person familiar with the matter, signaling that Hollywood studios worry U.S. moviegoers are hesitant to return to theaters in sufficient numbers to justify a second major movie release in the span of a month.
The studio, part of AT&T Inc., is moving “Wonder Woman 1984” to a date later in the year, the person said, scotching plans to open the film on Oct. 2. Such a move would represent the latest in a series of several Hollywood stutter steps...
