Fisher, in July, accused “Justice League” director Joss Whedon of “gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.” He also claimed that former Warner Bros. co-president of production Jon Berg, and former DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer Geoff Johns enabled Whedon’s alleged on-set behavior.shortly after Fisher’s accusations about the workplace environment.
After Fisher’s initial claim, Whedon declined to comment, and Berg said it was “categorically untrue that we enabled any unprofessional behavior.” Whedon took over directing duties on the 2017 film after the original filmmaker Zack Snyder had to leave the project due to a family tragedy. After extensive reshoots, “Justice League” debuted to mixed reviews and became a commercial flop.
Fisher and Momoa are among the franchise stars who are returning for Synder’s cut of “Justice League,” a director’s cut of the comic book adaptation. The four-part series is expected to drop on HBO Max in 2021.
