These will be among 13 films which will screen at cinemas around the country, and at the BFI Southbank in London.Tricia Tuttle, director of BFI Festivals, promised this year's event will be"a different kind of festival" as details were announced, saying:"Social justice is a strong theme throughout the programme."
She admitted there won't be the usual glitz and glam of the red carpets this year, but says film fans won't be disappointed.
