Yesterday, Apple Music underwent a major transformation. Its Beats 1 radio station, home to shows by greats such as Frank Ocean , Drake , and Nicki Minaj , all of which have given birth to infamous moments – where would we be without Nicki’s expletive-laden Harriet Tubman rant? – will be renamed Apple Music 1, and expand to include two more channels.
I’m very cool with a lot of people, and if we’re not “friends-friends”, we’re cool, so I can be like, “Hey, we was out drinking the other night, let’s go talk about that on the show!” The energy that you’ll get from my show is as if you’re just talking with me in my living room.
