As the veteran German director releases his latest underwhelming film, it feels as if he’s spreading himself too thin

It used to be that a new movie by Werner Herzog was an anticipated event; these days it’s more of an “Oh, another one”. Herzog sure seems to be churning them out. His latest, Family Romance, LLC, is his sixth feature in four years. Pretty impressive for a 77-year-old, but as well as the worry that he is spreading himself too thinly, is there a danger that Herzog is becoming a brand?

However bad Herzog potentially gets, nothing he ever creates could ever be as boring as this article.

I dont care about his 'Brand' as long as he give us some good movies, specially docs. And time to time he does

If you wanted to watch Fitzcorraldo, Aguirre the Wrath of God, Stroszek, Lessons of Darkness, etc., you will still watch them. If you were never going to watch them you still won't. Herzog appearing on Rick and Morty doesn't change anything.

People forget that, actually, Herzog was a documentary maker...

hey whats that rule about not asking questions in a title

He's been a hack, for a while now.

I forget.

This is a bad take.
