Way more than the Leadbelly guitar Geffen was too cheap to buy him.

money laundering

Just morally repugnant

'Eye-popping' is not a poor choice of words, people. Grow the fuck up. 'Mind blowing,' however. Now that'd be something.

Where is leadbelly's guitar at?

Wow..

If Kurt hadn't off'd himself, Nirvana would not be anywhere near as popular as they are. They weren't great anyways. Thank the maker that grunge died out....

Hope the money went to his family.

Insane!

darrenrovell A guy paid a few hundred grand for that sweater too.

Non snarky question: who owned the guitar? I mean, Courtney Love just made 6 mil or nah?

darrenrovell That’s a travesty. The guitar belongs to Frances but her ex husband refused to give it to her in their divorce.

bgtennisnation Grunge is green

Guess my check that said “priceless” didn’t work

darrenrovell Six million to much tbh

darrenrovell That is mind blowing.

During this performance Cobain actually laughs at being offered Leadbelly's guitar for $500,000.

😮

Enough money to rebuild Steve Austin, yes

A steal.

Um, wow. I guess that stimulus check really is helping
