It's based on an Asian myth, an Asian woman is portraying the character. It seems rather appropriate. She also apparently wanted to play this role and has no problem with it herself, so why are so many people full of misplaced indignation that she took an ACTING ROLE in FICTION
this reflects reality, east/southeast asian women dont mind being objects to white men. why else is it the most common interracial couple?! i can keep going but dont see many complaining with Jenny hans new movie where a white washed Asian women in love with bunch of white men

Maybe I am missing something!! Actress was offered the role accepted a contract & played the character. So basically her choice, I assume JKR didn't force her at gun point into the part. She made a choice so why do the keyboard busy bodies feel the need to interfere?
