City police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim, in a statement on Saturday , said that the suspects, both Bangladeshi men, were caught during raids in Jalan Alor on June 5.
"A counter along the walkway of shops in Jalan Alor was open from 12pm to 9pm, and each 'result' was sold for RM50," he said.Both suspects are believed to be working for two local men, and were paid RM1,500 and RM1,700 respectively a month."This irresponsible and profit-seeking attitude only endangers the public and it affects the government's effort to curb the spread of Covid-19," he said.
