The Only Way Is Essex has confirmed a special reunion series will go ahead after months of speculation.
Announcing the news in the caption, they wrote: “The Only Way is Essex is returning to @itvbe to celebrate its 10-year anniversary series! They explained: “The upcoming mega-series will return to screen later this year as the show celebrates this special anniversary with not one but two episodes every week. What happens in Essex, won’t stay in Essex! #TOWIE10”.
A source close to the show told OK! online: “It's a real blow for the producers, they thought they would make TV gold with the old cast reuniting but they just can't make it work.
