, the doyenne coach of"Dance Moms," saw her plans for a new dance show on Lifetime cancelled Friday in the wake of racism allegations by an ex-"Dance Moms" cast member. Miller acknowledged her words and expressed regret.
"We currently do not have plans to air the show," said Kannie Yu LaPack, a spokeswoman for the A&E network which owns Lifetime, in an email to USA TODAY. But it was almost certainly not a coincidence that Miller's new show was cancelled just after former"Dance Moms" contestant Adriana Smith attacked Miller, accusing her of addressing her and her daughter, Kamryn, with bigoted statements when she competed on Season 8 last year.
Smith said her daughter overheard Miller saying the only reason Kamryn was on the show was for"a sprinkle of color."
Didn't another network cancel her old show too for similar actions?
