Supergroups — bands comprised of members of other, often bigger acts — have been a pop tradition for over five decades. In 1997, it was alt-rock’s turn to give the idea a spin. When covers of Stooges songs were needed for the soundtrack of director Todd Haynes’ glam-rock dramatization, the Wylde Ratttz were born.
