If the movie turned into an hour thirty of Joker and Harley doing the car chase with Batman, it would be a huge improvement.
This might be a turning point in movies. The demand for “re-editing” already released movies demonstrates where the market is right now. Why not just make the best possible film instead trying to make the biggest possible profit based on weak market research.
