She encouraged her son to fly to the NT to be with family in a city which had no community transmission and a low rate of COVID-19. Mr Davies said communication was poor from the moment he arrived at the airport, with officers unable to answer his questions about the quarantine procedure."You're on edge when you get off the plane, it's anxiety inducing," he said.But while Mr Davies was in hotel quarantine in Darwin CBD, Ms Davies said police arrived at her apartment just one suburb away — as their records showed the 25-year-old was with her.
