The writers’ mission: Reshape and refine the sequel’s story after development with then-director Oliver Stone and writers David Marconi and Michael Tolkin had stalled out. recently spoke with Moore about his experience going from the bridge of the Enterprise to breaking story at Tom Cruise’s house.
“We first met with Tom and Paula Wagner, sort of a general meeting to get a feel for us, and that went well,” Moore said. Soon after, the writers scripted their first draft and would continue to meet with the actor at his home. As exciting as it is to pitch and write action scenes for a summer blockbuster, Moore’s fondest memories of working on the movie come from those behind-the-scenes moments that never made it to the screen. Now if they'll just have Cruise play the bad guy in an Austin Powers movie, that would be great.
Usually I don’t watch the same movie twice, but Mission Impossible could at any given time.
I like to forget that MI2 didn't exist They have all been amazing and MI2 was terrible.
