2020 was shaping up to be another huge year for The Weeknd, with a new album, a global tour and not least, a Variety cover story. Well, despite a global pandemic, the album and cover story happened as planned, but the tour obviously had to wait — and on Wednesday afternoon,revealed rescheduled dates for the “After Hours” tour, which remarkably will see nearly every show taking place almost exactly a year after its original date — only the New Orleans date has been cancelled.
The tour begins in Vancouver, as planned, but on June 12 of 2021, and wraps in Berlin in November , with more dates to be announced soon. All tickets will be transferable to the newly scheduled dates. The tour asks ticket holders to please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored for the new dates. If you are a ticket holder and cannot make the new show, you will receive an email directly allowing you to request a refund.
Support artists Sabrina Claudio, and Don Toliver will continue on the rescheduled tour for all dates in North America while Sabrina Claudio and Black Atlass will support all shows in the EU.
