, but for Gayle King, working out of her New York apartment amid a coronavirus pandemic presents a bit of a problem. Sure, she has a 28-step"commute" to her family room, where she co-hosts"CBS This Morning" – 26 if she's"speeding" – but she misses being with people.

"What I know about myself is – I don’t like working from home," she tells USA TODAY."I like the camaraderie. "Listen, I’ve always known that I was a people person, so that’s no surprise to me," she adds,"but there’s just something amount the interaction...and so I can’t wait for us all to get back together. For me, it’s a much more enjoyable experience."

Her recent return to radio offers King a chance to connect amid social distancing. The morning show co-anchor, who also serves as editor-at-large of O, The Oprah Magazine, is hosting" ," a six-week call-in show that debuted on SiriusXM April 23 spurred by COVID-19 that lets listeners express their thoughts and feelings.
