Hailee Steinfeld is back to making music with her new album Half Written Story
“It’s been hard to get writing and recording done at the same time, but we are learning it can be done. “I realised I needed to change certain aspects of my life, and this is when No More I Love You’s came into my brain. She says: “The first video didn’t turn out so great, so when it was take two, I thought I’d see what I could come up with.
“Throughout the years I had been writing pieces here and there. I’d go into the studio and record covers. It’s definitely been more of a side project, until I was finally able to do what I wanted and put it to the forefront, which I’m doing now.”She says: “Being in such great company absolutely inspires me. There are so many amazing female artists doing amazing work.
“I think what’s really cool is artists from different genres crossing over into other genres. They’re creating good work, which is awesome.”
