Disney's second-quarter operating income fell 37% as the coronavirus sent its theme-park results tumbling

Walt Disney Co. on Tuesday laid bare for investors just how badly the company has been ravaged by the novel coronavirus that has shut down its film and TV productions and closed its theme parks around the world.

The world’s largest entertainment company said it lost $1.4 billion due to the pandemic in the three months ended March 28.

Their income falls or, their “profit” falls? Sorry but, the amusement is over-priced!

The UK changed its law on April 27th to allow authorities to forcibly remove people from their homes and vaccinate them if they test positive.

Will Disney now split their streaming business from physical entertainment?

Taking a little hit, the make millions and millions... just going into one their parks for one day is about $250dls per person and its always to the brim... im tired of corporations bitching about loses regular folks dont know how will they pay for their food, rent and utilities

I feel very sorry for the people working for Disney in this tough time. Although to be fair, I felt sorry for them even before, just for having to work for Disney...

I think they are going to be ok.
