And this is how I’m going to do it.”Some of these songs don’t belong together. They live in the same universe, but it’s sort of like Marvel movies: you have awareness of these other characters, but maybe they’re not in every movie.
And I think that rock artists are people of a more alternative state of mind. It’s completely different for an alternative band to do sponsorships or endorsements because there’s this mentality of, “I don’t want to sell out.” But pop artists, R&B artists, hip-hop artists — they’re so proud of these partnerships, and it really helps to bolster their career. We also don’t celebrate rock music on a big level. The Grammys don’t televise an alternative genre.
One of the most amazing artists of our time. She was always a solo artist in my opinion. Her band members came & went like the weather. They could not accept that she IS Paramore! It's like the Doors making two albums without Jim Morrison. He WAS the Doors, & Haley IS Paramore!
