taking over for a limited time, but there are a couple of traveling vendors that will appear periodically on your island. The first is Leif, who sells shrubs and flowers, but the other is Redd.titles. This wily fox is coming to your island to sell you their merchandise, which includes paintings and statues. However, not everything is as legit as it seems., including how to access them and how to tell which works of art are fake and which are real.

Once that's done, head over to the museum and speak to Blathers. The owl will explain that the museum has expanded a bit to include pieces of art.players have reported online that it takes a day for Redd to begin showing up on your island after speaking with Blathers. Players will know Redd has arrived on their island when they travel to the northern shores. Redd's boat will be docked there, but you'll need to find the fox walking around your island. Speak to them and you'll be able to enter to boat to purchase some art.Once you've entered Redd's boat, he'll explain how he will sell you pieces of art for Bells. Players can then donate these pieces of art to the museum or use them to hang in their homes and around the island.

But the trick is telling what's real and what is fake. There are certain pieces of art that don't have fake versions, so no matter what, you'll purchase the genuine one. Redd will only give you the option to purchase the first time you speak to him, but after making that purchase you will unlock the option to look at the piece of art before buying.

Players will need to look at the art to tell if they are real or fake. For the art buffs out there, these pieces of art are identical to their real life counterparts, so you may be able to tell what's legit. For example, you can purchase the Mona Lisa, but there may be a fake version that has something off about it that Redd is trying to sell.
