Major album releases used to be put through a Large Hadron Collider of marketing, but now almost everything making those promotion particles accelerate has been switched off. So how do you push an album when the beamlines are down?
Without a commute, it's more streaming radio as there's less curation effort involved. Just put it on a favourite station. I used to listen to Spotify's Discover Weekly, but just haven't. If I lose my job I might even drop the Spotify subscription temporarily

I can manage for days on end not listening to music, although I have a huge collection dating back to the 60s. Also have various music channels on my phone. I actually prefer silence, or birdsong, which is a lot more audible now, because of the lack of traffic.

Most of modern music is disposable and most people have neither the taste nor the knowledge to look for quality stuff. How many times can you listen to Capaldi and Ezra?
I only listen to music when I'm outside to cut off from the surrounding world. No need to do it when I stay at home.

I usually stream music when I'm out and about-- walking, in the car, working out. I rarely stream music at home unless I'm having a dinner or house party

Perhaps they'd usually mostly stream during the commute to and from work, and during work.
People are(me) busy reading news, articles, case studies, latest scientific studies and journals. I have not even watched one movie since the lock down. Plus there is cleaning, cooking, washing up, laundry, shower and daily meditation and exercise i am doing. Busier than ever!

Because radio has returned to its original vital importance. Easy to have on in background whilst working / schooling etc, no need to keep thinking about what to put on and if the presenters are good the tone is pitched perfectly
