The Chase's new quizzer Darragh Ennis 'excited' as he speaks out on joining show

It was recently confirmed that a new Chaser would be joining Paul Sinha, Mark Labbett, Jenny Ryan, Anne Hegerty and Shaun Wallace on the team.

He'd been on the show in 2017 with viewers campaigning for justice for him, after he won a whopping amount of money - only for other contestants to dramatically decrease the amount in the pot.Darragh himself has also spoken out about his new job, sharing his "excitement" to get involved.He said: "I'm really excited to be the 6th chaser on #TheChase.

It seems Darragh may already have been filming with the show before filming was stopped, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Chase, like other shows, halted filming new episodes, and currently re-runs are being broadcast on ITV.
