MANILA -- One of the actors from the popular HBO series "Game of Thrones" made a short video message inspired by the heroic efforts of Filipino frontliners against the spread of the coronavirus .

He explained that it was dedicated particularly to those working at The Medical City after learning of how they bravely took care of his friend's father, who sadly lost his life to the virus. Naming some of the hospital's doctors, he added: "They also asked me to tell you to keep safe, rest well, and to take care. They are forever grateful to you. You are in their prayers every single day."
