Celebrities looking to help with COVID-19 relief should look to Lady Gaga: The singer raised $35 million for COVID-19 relief and is helping to throw a live, virtual concert that will be free to the public.

, she talked about lobbying 68 corporate CEOs to provide funding for the show, called “One World: Together at Home,” and why she decided to get involved. “What drew me to this,” she said, “was, how can we create a two-hour special that, in a time of crisis, highlights the singularly kind global community that is emerging?” She added, “This is not just a historic moment, it is a cultural moment.”
