Police might only deal with deaths if coronavirus crisis escalates

POLICE could be restricted to dealing with only crimes involving deaths if coronavirus stretches forces to breaking point, it was claimed today.

Leaked documents which were circulated at the National Police Chief's Council last week showed a worst-case scenario where "business as usual cannot be sustained". Up to one in five people could be off sick at any one time at the peak of the crisis, experts have already predicted.

So the army could be drafted in to fill the gaps in emergency services, have they taken into account when they on camp they live in dorms where the spread of Covid-19 would run rife, so who’s to say the armed forces aren’t going to struggle either
