Dressed in a silky, Dalmatian-spotted black and white dress, the star started off the song in a pretty familiar vein, with the song's memorable acoustic guitar riff and accented synth notes taking center stage.
"You can think again/ When the hand you wanna hold is a weapon and/ You're nothin' but skin," she crooned. When she reached the song's chorus, though, gone were the hand-clapping beats and soothing synths, now replaced by electric guitars and a full drum set kicking into high gear to give the new cover some new life. By the time she sang her final note, the crowd gave her a well-deserved standing ovation.
