Over the past few weeks, several ministers and deputy ministers have posted pictures on social media of them flying economy class.
Ministers, deputy ministers and members of Parliament are, in the main, completely out of touch with the lives of what is sometimes referred to as “ordinary people”. I am at an age where I reminisce a lot. Sometimes it is at the funeral of a comrade, a colleague or a friend; sometimes it is at a special birthday celebration of one of my friends. We sometimes joke about the things we got up to or endured during the Struggle against apartheid.
rylandfisher What's so great about that? They should be ashamed of themselves that they never did before.
rylandfisher To cut their salaries into half we can consider

rylandfisher Why don’t they just use video conferencing to cut down on travel costs?!
rylandfisher And how many South Africans can afford to fly in a plan...people barely make it for taxi or bus fare...minister must stop rubbing salt in poverty wounds
rylandfisher It is of no use if we don't even know where the money that was saved went to
rylandfisher Previn
rylandfisher They're showing us their greatest achievements in their respective portfolios.
rylandfisher They can't be applauded for doing what they were forced to do.✈ Given a choice most of these useless ministers would have private jets🛩 They must actually be using trains and busses like tne poor they claim to respresent🚌🚇
rylandfisher Imagine if we had saved 25 years of first class travel.
rylandfisher How to fit their fat heads and even fatter wallets.
rylandfisher Well with an EMPTY PLANE the choice of an upgrade in FLIGHT is about 200 percent with all the SEATS BEING EMPTY
rylandfisher I think they must try going to public hospitals, taking their children to public schools, and they will see the progress of this country and how masses are experiencing.
