NCIS has had its fair share of characters crop up over the past 17 seasons on CBS. One of whom was fan-favourite and former series regular Tony DiNozzo who plucked at heartstrings with his romance with Ziva David. However, another one of his romantic interests has actually exposed a rather huge hole in the show's plot.

Zoe arrived with a bang on NCIS, working as a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives - otherwise known as ATF.
