Finneas O'Connell, Billie Eilish's brother makes an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon and talks about the everyday sounds in Billie's songs.

When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?Finneas uses the songs"Bury A Friend" and"Bad Guy" as examples. In"Bury A Friend" you can hear Billie getting her teeth drilled. Finneas talks to Jimmy about how both he and his sister have those Invisalign teeth straighteners. While she was at an appointment for them she had her teeth drilled. Billie recorded the sound and it ended up in the song.

In"Bad Guy" there's an Australian stoplight. Finneas says the stoplights in Melbourne make a sound that he loves. It even stays on beat so of course it ended up in a Billie Eilish song. He says,"The thing people think are high hats in"Bad Guy" is actually just that." Finneas says he uses these different sounds to help him stand out as a music producer."To me, as a producer, I always want something to set stuff apart." He travels with a recorder and if he hears something he finds interesting, he'll record it and later on say to himself"I wonder how I can use that."

Jimmy plays the original sounds and then plays the song it's used in during the interview. Listen below and see if you can hear them.
