SuperBowl celebrations in Kansas City light up National Weather Service radar

Kansas City, Mo., was ablaze with excitement following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win on Sunday – and the celebrations were so festive, they even showed up on weather radar.

Here's #KansasCity erupting in celebration, as detected by our radar! 🎉🎇🎆🏈 pic.twitter.com/IlfG82gxl6 “We saw the same thing in 2015 when the Royals won the World Series,” Bailey said. “...They show up for the Fourth of July when everyone [is] shooting fireworks as well...[the] radar can pick up everything from dust to insects to birds to precipitation in the atmosphere.” No pyro, no party. KC went full on ultra last night. This is amazing. https://t.co/jZodD6HBST
