about the idea for the club, which is slated to open in May.
The former warehouse and furniture store will feature its main music hall, an outdoor patio and a VIP area called the Echo Lounge. Hi-Fi will add to Live Nation’s portfolio in Dallas which already includes the House of Blues in Victory Park that features a 1,650-cap main hall as well as a 400-cap room called the Cambridge Room. The industry giant also controls the Toyota Music Factory in Irving that can hold anywhere between 2,500 to 8,000 fans.
The new 1,000-capacity club will help Live Nation work with smaller bands on their way up and compete with Dallas’ jam-packed music scene that includes the Bomb Factory, The Granada Theater and more.
